Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Inland B.V. ("Inland", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit https://inlandexpansion.com (the "Website"), contact us, or are approached by us on behalf of one of our clients. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (UAVG).
Who we are
Inland B.V. provides lead generation and business expansion services. It is a Dutch private limited company (besloten vennootschap), registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 91084458, VAT number NL865547154B01. Our registered office is at Grote Voort 247, 8041 BL Zwolle, the Netherlands.
For personal data collected through the Website and our own business contacts, Inland is the data controller. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as this is not required for our activities. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@inlandexpansion.com, by phone on +31 85 1304979, through the contact form on the Website, or by post to our registered office.
Personal data we collect
Contact and demo request form. When you submit the form on the Website, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number and the project details you choose to share with us.
Website usage data. When you visit the Website, we and our service providers may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on pages, referring website and approximate location (country or city level). This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 6.
Business contact data processed for our clients. As part of our B2B sales and market expansion services, we process professional contact data of people working at companies our clients wish to reach. See section 4.
Why we use your data and on what legal basis
To respond to your enquiry or demo request and follow up on it. We use the details you submit through our form, because you asked us to contact you and we have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
To manage our business relationships. We keep your details and our correspondence in our CRM (HubSpot), based on our legitimate interest in managing client and prospect relationships.
To send you relevant business communications about our services. We use your name, email address and company, based on our legitimate interest in B2B marketing. You can object to this at any time.
To run, secure and improve the Website. We use website usage data, based on our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website.
To measure Website traffic and the results of our advertising. We use analytics and marketing cookies, only with your consent, which you give through our cookie banner.
To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules. We keep contract and invoice data because the law requires it.
Data we process on behalf of our clients
Inland helps companies expand into new markets through B2B outreach. In that work we act on behalf of our clients. For this data, our client is the data controller and Inland is the data processor, working under a data processing agreement and only on the client's documented instructions.
What data: professional contact details such as name, job title, employer, business email address, business phone number and professional profile URLs (for example LinkedIn).
Where it comes from: publicly available professional sources, company websites and reputable B2B data providers.
What we do with it: we contact professionals by email, phone or LinkedIn about our client's products or services. This outreach is carried out in our client's name, using our client's brand and communication channels, and we record the outcome of that contact for the client.
Who to contact: because our client is the data controller, its own privacy policy applies to this outreach, and questions or requests (such as access, deletion or objection) are best sent to the client directly. You can also contact us at info@inlandexpansion.com if you believe we processed your data on behalf of one of our clients; we will pass your request on to the client and, where you ask us to stop contacting you, stop all outreach to you on that client's behalf.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
Service providers that support our business, such as HubSpot (CRM, forms and email), Salesforce (CRM), Microsoft Azure and Google (cloud hosting, storage and business software), our website hosting provider, and the analytics and advertising tools listed in section 6. They process data only on our instructions under a data processing agreement.
Our clients, where we process data on their behalf (section 4).
Professional advisers and authorities, such as accountants, lawyers or public authorities, where required by law or needed to protect our rights.

International transfers
Our CRM data in HubSpot is stored in the European Union. Some service providers, such as Google and LinkedIn, belong to groups based in the United States and may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep your data
Contact and demo request form submissions and related correspondence: up to 2 years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client.
Client contract, invoice and accounting records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
Business contact data processed for clients: for the duration of the client engagement, after which it is deleted or returned to the client in line with our agreement with them.
Records of objections ("do not contact" requests): as long as needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
Analytics and marketing cookies: up to 14 months, or as set out in our cookie banner.
How we protect your data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These include access controls, secure (encrypted) connections, and working only with service providers that meet GDPR security requirements.
Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
access the personal data we hold about you;
have inaccurate data corrected;
have your data deleted;
restrict how we process your data;
receive your data in a portable format;
object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including direct marketing (we will always stop direct marketing when you object);
withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before.
To exercise your rights, email us at info@inlandexpansion.com, use the contact form on the Website, or write to us at the address in section 1. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on your request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always published on the
Website, with the date of the last update at the top.
